KUALA LINGGI INTERNATIONAL PORT
Kuala Sungai Linggi has been a maritime trading post since the 14th Century, the location taking after the name “Linggi” meaning “Stem” in Bugis. A look-out fort at Bukit Supai in the vicinity was built by the Dutch & the Bugis as a token of their friendship and partnership in trade.
Kuala Linggi continued to be utilised by small crafts engaged in barter trading and local fishing vessels until the advent of T.A.G. Marine Sdn. Bhd. providing Ship-to-Ship cargo transfer services since 2006 which has attracted a ULCC, VLCCs, LNGCs, LPG carriers and a host of other Aframax,Suezmax and Panamax ships.

- Operation – At anchor; berthing of ships are conducted by STS Superintendents / Mooring Master / Pilot and tugs. Floating storage vessels permitted. No restrictions on liquid cargo to be transferred.
